Vendor Obligations
You MUST:
- Sell genuine, original products only — no counterfeits
- Respond to customer messages within 24 hours
- Fulfil orders promptly and as described
- Maintain accurate prices and product availability
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with buyers
- Accept M-Pesa or agreed payment methods
- Provide refunds or replacements for genuine product defects
You must NOT:
- List counterfeit, stolen or prohibited items
- Misrepresent products in photos or descriptions
- Direct buyers away from Zuri to avoid subscription fees
- Collect payment and not fulfil orders
- Engage in any fraudulent activity
Your Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all product photos and content you submit. By listing on Zuri Marketplace, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, promote, and use your content on our platform and associated marketing channels (Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp).
You confirm that all content you submit does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
Subscription Terms
- Price: Ksh 1,499 per month
- First payment: Due after your first successful sale
- Payment method: M-Pesa (invoice sent monthly)
- Cancellation: Cancel anytime by emailing richard@zurimarket.co.ke
- Refunds: Monthly fees are non-refundable once paid
- Suspension: Listings suspended if subscription lapses for more than 7 days

Limitation of Liability. Limitation of Liability
Zuri Market provides a platform service only. We are not a party to transactions between vendors and buyers. To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law:
- Zuri Market is not liable for loss of sales, business interruption, or reputational damage arising from your listing on the platform.
- Zuri Market is not liable for disputes between you and customers, including non-payment or non-delivery claims.
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the preceding 3 months.
7 Termination & Suspension
7.1 Vendor termination. A vendor may terminate their subscription at any time by notifying Zuri Market via WhatsApp (+254 706 459 922) or email at least 7 days before the next billing date. No refund is issued for the current billing period.
7.2 Zuri Market termination. Zuri Market reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove a vendor account without notice if the vendor:
- Sells counterfeit, prohibited, or misrepresented products
- Fails to fulfil confirmed customer orders
- Receives three or more substantiated complaints within 30 days
- Provides false information during registration
- Fails to pay the monthly subscription fee within 7 days of due date
7.3 Appeals. A suspended vendor may appeal by contacting richard@zurimarket.co.ke. Zuri Market will review and respond within 5 business days.
7.4 Data on termination. Upon termination, vendor product listings are removed within 48 hours. Vendor personal data is retained as required by Kenyan law and deleted upon written request after the retention period.
